From a photo album, containing Lamp and Glass Works social club activities and 25 year service presentations, 1961-1969. The album is from the archive of the Electric Lamp Manufacturers (Australia) Pty Ltd (ELMA) [Incl. Subsidiary Company: Newcastle Glass Works (NGW)] 1925 - 2002.
ELMA, which operated in Clyde Street, Hamilton closed in 2002 after 71 years of production. It produced electric light bulbs, including incandescent, fluorescent and environmentally friendly lights. At its peak, over 1000 workers were employed.
