The UON recordings archive is a collection of interviews documenting various aspects of the University of Newcastle from 1975 to 1995.

These historical tapes have been digitised and made freely available to the wider global research community thanks to the University of Newcastle Library's Special Collections and the work of our talented volunteers.

We thank 2NURFM for giving many of these interviews to Special Collections so they can be made available to the wider community.

The original audio recordings are held in Special Collections at the Auchmuty Library, University of Newcastle (Australia).
