Description

Label reads: "Estd. 1877. McWilliam's Mount Pleasant. Philip Hermitage 1975. This wine is made from Hermitage grapes grown in the Pokolbin district of the Lower Hunter Valley. As well as its distinctive district character, it shows a dominant varietal aroma and flavour with a firm tannin finish. After ageing in 2,700 litre and 13,600 litre oak casks, it was bottled in September 1976, and should continue to improve for many years..."
