Description

Label reads: "Hardy's Vintage Port. Vintage 1972. Bottled 25 November 1974. Reference No. D149. Vintaged from selected Shiraz grapes grown on the famous Tintara Vineyards at McLaren Vale and Brandy Fortified. Vintage Port is always matured in the bottle and this wine in your own cellar. It is recommended that it not be opened until 1978 but additional maturation will further enhance its Vintage Port character provided it is always stored lying down in a cool place. After several years a crust will probably form and the wine should be carefully handled and decanted before use. F38."
