<p>From University Bulletin, No. 11, 1990, p10</p> <p>Tennis courts to be extended</p> <p>Text: "When the BULLETIN went to press, work on the development of four additional tennis courts was expected to begin shortly.</p> <p>Daracon Engineering Pty Ltd will carry out earthworks on the site adjacent to the existing tennis centre and, subsequently, tenders will be called for the construction of the courts, which will have synthetic grass surfaces and illumination for use at night."</p> <p>The light pole in the SW corner of No 1 Oval is clearly evident, and on enlarging the photo, the perimeter fences for tennis courts 1 & 2 and for 3 & 4 can be seen as well as the small tennis courts shelter shed and the tennis courts light poles.
