Dear Aunt,

Received your post card last Friday. You needn't be grumbling about the weather.  We had a fortnight of it, hot enough to roast Chinaman.  But had a pleasant change Friday week.  It rained from Friday til Sunday.  In that time we registered 2 1/2 inches.  Last month we had 3 3/4 inches here.  Stock look well.  Was twenty Sunday week.
