The board advertises next meeting dates and locations and the "good reasons why you should join". Tacked on to the timber board is an article listing of members benefits with the title "Do You Know What the Rechabite Order will do for You?". The ideals and aims include "a happy Boyhood and Girlhood, a sober Manhood and Womanhood". The order welcomes men and women between 16 and 45 "who present a medical certificate of good health and fitness, and who conform to the principles of TOTAL ABSTINENCE". "Girls and boys of Good Moral Character and between the age of 8 and 16 years, are admitted as Juvenile Members". The article lists benefits including medical attendance, sick pay, funeral allowance and endowement assurance. "Members are trained in the principles of Total Abstinence and Thrift". Meeting details for "Brighton Le Sands Tent No. 153", are: "meet in Presbyterian Hall Kings Rd". The meeting card tacked to the board states "Next meeting Monday June 10th". On top of this card is ticket for "A Select Dance" to be held at Life-Savers' Hall, Brighton-le-Sands on Monday/Wednesday June 23 1941.
