Gained the certification of "Sublime Degree of Master Mason" at Herder Lodge No. 698. Brooklyn, New York. Signed by W M Henry Kothe, S W George Scheuer, J W Frederick, S Reichert, [J Sidney] Lambert. It also certifies that "Herder Lodge No. 698 is a Just and Lawfully constituted Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons", working under charter of the Grand Lodge of New York. Signed General secretary [illegible]. Additional text hand written in ballpoint pen centre bottom "CALLED FROM LABOR AL 5950 JUNE 15 1950 AD", "AGED 75 YEARS". Right inset embossed "GRAND LODGE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK". This print was mounted on board with newspaper backing. A portrait photograph of H Duerner was found behind the print.
