DescriptionAerial photograph taken overlooking Fort Scratchley by a RAAF aircraft. The fort was heavily camouflaged after the attack on Newcastle on 8 June 1942. Information on the site has been provided by Kevin Laffey, who lived at the fort between 1930-1942, and in the Master Gunner's cottage with his family until he was 19 years of age.
