Interview by Elizabeth Cox in 1987 with Eric Merrion from Merrion’s Cardiff Bakery a family business 1922 - 1977. Eric discusses his father Herbert working for William Arnott of Arnott's Biscuit Factory and his fathers determination to start his own business. There were many changes in technology in the baking industry including the later take over of many small bakers by multinationals.

The Margaret Henry Oral History Archive is a collection of audio tapes, transcripts, summaries and essays that were part of the Oral Histories Open Foundation Course (1986-1989). Margaret Henry was a history lecturer at the UON in the 1980s.
