This hand drawn poster was created to promote awareness of an upcoming talk organised by the Resistance Club of a guest speaker from the Philippines to be held at the Shortland Student Union.
The Resistance Club is the youth wing of the Socialist Alliance which maintains a presence in Newcastle.
Resistance did have a strong presence on campus, as demonstrated by the number of posters that represent them in the University of Newcastle Poster Collection.
