AddBy: Robert Brown1st Aug 2022 11:15AMThis is strengthening of Ironbark Creek bridge and later than stated. Right hand end post has strengthening plate offered up, but not yet welded. Left hand end post has strengthening plate fully welded. Shear members in far panels on left appear to have had plates installed between them, are different to near shear members. NSWGR used arc welding for insitu strengthening from late 1920s onwards when the process was still not in universal use.
