The postcard was sent on 23 August 1916 from Boyton by Tom Veat, 109 Howitzer Battery, 9th F.A. Brigade. it was addresses to Miss Ruby Grimwade [Griswade?], 17 Beaumont Street, Hamilton, via Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.
