AddBy: David Porter8th Sep 2022 11:27PMI played on this ground in Senior Soccer when I played for Newcastle Austral. They shared the ground for several seasons with the Wallsendd club. I played in the '63 & '64 seasons. My comment is that the ground was named Crystal Palace Ground. The grandstand at the ground was deconstructed at the old Wallsend Racetrack, transported to Crystal Palace and reconstructed to become the Palace grandstand.
