DescriptionImages taken during a visit of the Carrington Albums to the University of Newcastle (Australia) on the 3rd June 2015. The Carrington Albums were a series of 22 bound volumes of illuminated addresses, containing finely detailed illuminated borders, hand painted illustrations and well-wishing messages from residents, towns and associations across the State in honour of Lord Carrington, who served as Governor from 1885 to 1890.
