AddBy: Robert Alexander19th Feb 2025 6:48PMThis locomotive No. 44 was 1 of 6 built by Stephenson of the E-17 class and were erected by Mort & Co. in 1870-1871.They were numbered 44-47, and 18N-19N . At least 2 had enclosed iron cabs and were known as "Ironclads". No.46 was one and presumably No.47 was the other one.
