kenthornton1: This and similar images are thought to be of French pilot Maurice Guillaux. There are at least two events that Guillaux is known to have been flying over Sydney. The first, a flying demonstration at Sydney's Victoria Park Racecourse in Zetland, an inner-city suburb on the 2nd May 1914. (SMH 4 May 1914 "The French Airmen's Visit) The second event, was Guillaux arriving at Moore Park, Sydney on 18th July 1914, carrying the first airmail between Melbourne and Sydney.
