About the original
InformationI think it was the corner of South St. and Princes Highway (then called Rocky Point Road), not Gray St as reported in the newspaper. This is where the trams did a sharp left turn towards Kogarah Station via a big loop through Kogarah Shopping centre. A few metres from the entrance to Moorefields race course. This is also consistent with the description of the road running parallel to the railway for a quarter of a mile.
