"A Stretch of the Imagination" was was staged at The Hunter Valley Theatre Company from 1 May, 1992 to 30 May, 1992.

"A Stretch of the Imagination" has one character, a loner Australian bushman called Monk O'Neill who claims to have led a colourful life. On the other hand, most of his reminiscences may be no more than a fantasy.
