Description

This display commemorates the centenary of the Stanford Merthyr Colliery disaster of 29 October 1905 in which 6 men lost their lives. This photograph was taken by Jack Keily and is part of the Black Gold, Rivers of Steel exhibition held in Special Collections during October- November 2010.
