Information provided by Adrian Iakin: "This is the christening of the Baseball Field established on Comsteel Oval which existed for less than 2 years and which was sited between No 2 Oval and the Transgrid Electricity site next to the Comsteel Bowling Club. See Blood & Bandages p132"
Comsteel Oval was resumed in late 1986 by the Electricity Commission of NSW as it required the area for the expansion of the electricity substation.
