This is the 1985 Blues Dinner and the presenter is Dr John Cheffers, first Executive Director, Australian Institute of Sport presenting the George Haggarty Cup to Terry Farrell the 1984 University Sports Person of the Year. Terry was Sports Person of the Year on 3 occasions 1982, 1984 and 1985. Terry was an elite Orienteer, with an excellent record in the Australian Elite Class Orienteering Championships placing 3rd in 1980 and 1981, 4th in 1982, 2nd in 1984, 3rd in 1986 and winning the event in 1988 as well as a string of high placings in numerous international competitions."
