Image shows carriages transporting coal at the Glebe pit. Additionally the image shows the Newcastle Coal Mining Coy's "A" Pit Colliery in the Glebe Valley. Glebe Pit was the colloquial name. (Additional information courtesy of Mr John W. Shoebridge, June 2009).
