OZinOH: This is not the SRC at the University of Newcastle. My guess is that it's the conference/council of the National Union of Australian University Students (NUAUS) in the early 1960s. It's about three times the size of the SRC, and I recognise several people who were students at other universities and went to NUAUS. However, it's from before I was a delegate, so I'm not in the picture. OZinOH: I've identified three people on the photo, and I'm revising my estimate of when this was taken to around 1965. Alf van der Poorten: A mathematics student at the University of NSW 1961-1964, president of the Students Union Council there in 1964-1965, now emeritus professor of Mathematics at Macquarie University. Tom Roper: History student at the University of Sydney in 1963-1966, later Minister for Education in Victoria. Ian Lowe: Then a physics student at the University of NSW; president of the Students Union Council there in 1965-1966, and currently an emeritus professor at Griffith University.
