Born in 1943, Roger S Holmes has served as Vice Chancellor of various departments at Griffith University (1996-2004) and University of Newcastle (2004). He received his degree in Science and two doctorates from Griffith University where he was also Emeritus Professor and served as this at the University of Newcastle.
