Description

Label reads: "Barwang Shiraz 2001. Good spring rain, mild ripening conditions and a relatively dry harvest provided outstanding fruit for the 2001 vintage. The palate exhibits intense blood plum fruit flavours with refined nutmeg oak. A fine tannin structure combines with a rich and flavoursome finish. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in oak barrels for 18 months has added further complexity to this full bodied wine. Ideal with richly flavoured red meath dishes. Cellaring potential 7 years..."
