Label reads: "Estd. 1877. McWilliam's Mount Pleasant. Traminer 1962. Due to the climatic conditions during late 1961 and early 1962, the Traminer grapes at Mount Pleasant did not attain their usual fullness of flavour and aroma. Because of this, and the higher acidity of the grapes when picked, a very delicate fresh wine has been produced which has characteristics similar to many Rhine Wines. To preserve this unusual character for a Traminer, it was bottled without any wood ageing in April, 1962..."
