Label reads: "Estd. 1877. McWilliam's The Hanwood Barrel Rhine Riesling. This wine is made from the grape variety, Rhine Riesling, which was grown in the Riverina district of New South Wales. Strict temperature control during fermentation has helped to retain in the wine a dominant aroma, spicy flavour and excellent balance. It has won the following awards at various Wine Shows. Gold Medal - International Wine Fair at Ljubljana, Yugoslavia, in 1973. Gold Medal - Vintage 1972 Dry White Hock Royal National Show, Brisbane, 1973..."
