Label reads: "Tyrrell's. Hunter River. 1974 Riesling. Gold medal R.A.S. Perth 1974. Estate bottled. 750ml. Produce of Australia. Tyrrell's Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Made from Semillon Grapes grown on the sandy loam flats, the grapes grown on this soil type produces a wine full in flavour, yet balanced by a firm acid finish. This wine was bottled early to preserve its fresh fruity bouquet. Awarded a Gold Medal Class 13 (Export) Perth and Silver Medal Class 8 (Export) Adelaide. Murray D. Tyrrell."
