Label reads: "Carbonic Maceration. Vintage 1978. Tyrrell's. Hunter River. Cabernet. Estate bottled. Tyrrell's Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. Made from 100% Cabernet grapes grown on the Weinkeller Vineyard. The process of Carbonic Maceration involves the fermentation of all undamaged berries and has been used on only a few occasions in Australia. The technique results in a wine giving maximum fruit and softness available. The wine shows strong fruit on the nose and the palate and is well balanced with tannin and acid on the finish. I believe this to be a classic wine of the style and one that has all the qualities for long aging in the bottle. 750ml."
