Label reads: "This wine is made from Pinot Chardonnay grapes grown by our Hunter Valley grapes growers. The grapes were picked early in February at high sugar and acid levels and the juice fermented under controlled temperature conditions and finally blended together. The wine was then matured for four months in new French Oak hogsheads as in the traditional French White Burgundy manner. This wine shows the distinctive Chardonnay aroma and French Oak character on the nose. The palate is broad and full with good depth of flavour; the wine will develop into a Top Hunter White Burgundy style. Murray D. Tyrrell. Winemaker."
