Label reads: "Vintage 1976. Tyrrell's. Hunter River. Rhine Riesling. Silver Medal R.A.S. Adelaide. Estate bottled. Tyrrell's Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. This wine was made from 100 per cent Rhine Riesling grapes which were picked early while they still contained good acid. The juice was fermented under cold conditions and slight pressure. This has produced a light bodied wine with pale yellow colour and a flowery Rhine Riesling character with a clean, crisp finish. This wine will develop bouquet and flavour with a further 1-2 years bottle age while still retaining its freshness, but will also be ideal served chilled for summer drinking. 750ml."
