Description

Label reads: "Tyrrell's. Hunter River. 1973 Dry Red. Estate bottled. 750ml. Produce of Australia. Tyrrell's Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Made from Hermitage grapes grown on the red volcanic clay areas of out Pokolbin vineyard. The grapes were allowed to fully ripen before picking and this flavour has been enhanced by careful maturation in 100 gallon Oak puncheons for twelve months before bottling. The wine is showing good bottle age making it suitable for immediate drinking, but will improve with a further 1-2 years bottle aging. Murray D. Tyrrell. Winemaker."
