Label reads: "The 1975 Vintage in the Hunter Valley was an exceptional one. Wines are a lighter more delicate style displaying strength of flavour and a finesse similar to the 1972 vintage. This wine was been made from late picked Semillon grapes and was fermented in open vats with a minimum amount of cooling. This traditional approach to White wine making has produced a style showing strong full flavour and firm tannin finish. The palate and bouquet of this wine have been influenced by maturation in small 100 gallon Oak casks. This wine is suitable for immediate drinking, but I believe it will develop into a classic Hunter style if carefully cellared for up to five years. Murray D. Tyrrell. Winemaker."
