Label reads: "The Semillon grapes for this wine were picked during mid-vintage from our Pokolbin vineyards. The juice was fermented cold in Old German Oak casks and then matured for three months in new German Oak puncheons. The wine will be transferred back to large Oak until bottling in August 1978. This wine has rich green/gold colour and full fruit flavour which is enhanced and lifted by the small Oak treatment. I believe this wine required 2/3 years bottle ageing to realize the full potential of the style. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker."
