Label reads: "Winemaker's Selection. Vintage 1970 vat 8. Tyrrell's. Hunter River. Dry Red. Estate bottled. Tyrrell's Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. The 1970 Vintage has produced Red Wines of outstanding quality. I guarantee this wine to be made solely from Hermitage Grapes grown on out Ashman's Vineyards. I personally selected this as one of the top wines of this Vintage. A full-bodied Red, perfectly balanced and one that will mature with a further 4-5 years bottle ageing. Net 1 pint 6 fluid ozs."
