Description

Label reads: "Leo Buring. Reserve bin DR 273. Reserve Claret. 1971 vintage. DR 273 is made from Shiraz grapes grown in the Eden and Barossa Valleys and at McLaren Vale. It was matured in French oak casks prior to being bottled at Chateau Leonay on July 1st, 1974. DR 273 has a full soft, fruity nose and flavour with a soft oak and tannin finish, revealing good bottle age development. The following awards have been received for this wine: Trophy 1978 Canberra, Gold medal 1978 Canberra (Class 56), Silver medal 1974 Perth (Class 17), Bronze medal 1974 Adelaide (Class 12). Produce of Australia. Leo Buring Pty. Ltd. Sydney. 710ml."
