Label reads: "1977 Gold medal Red Shiraz Cabernet Malbec 65/30/5%. Bottled: November 1978. Proprietors: Tumminello and Gale. Comments: The complementing fruit characters of this blend were integrated and given a further depth of flavour by maturation in new oak. The wine has good balance and complexity of flavour, expected to be more evident on the palate with 2-5 years bottle aging."
