This wine was vintaged at McLaren Vale from locally grown grapes and comprises 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Shiraz. Maturation was in French Oak Puncheons which has contributed to the firmness on the palate without excessive astringency. The wine shows considerable body and excellent colour and should improve in the bottle over a period of several years. Bottled by the makers. Thomas Hardy and Sons Pty. Ltd. of South Australia. F38.
