Label reads: "Lindeman's Hunter River Valley Riesling. BinL 4255. Vintage: 1972. This wine was vintaged from Riesling grapes grown at Lindeman's "Ben Ean"and "Sunshine" vineyards in the Pokolbin area of the Hunter River Valley, N.S.W It is a fresh, well flavoured, delicate Riesling, having an attractive grapey bouquet with a soft, round effect on the palate, and pronounced Hunter character. Show awards for this wine include:- Bronze medal 1972 Melb Show. Bronze medal 1972 Bris Show. Bronze medal 1973 Syd Show."
