Description

Label reads: "Lindeman's special reserve Claret. Bin 2565 Vintage 1963. Hunter River Blend. This wine was vintaged from Red Hermitage grapes grown at Lindeman's vineyards in the Hunter River Valley, Coonawarra and Clare, and was mature in small oak casks before bottling in 1964. It is a medium Claret with a delicate, appealing flavour and clean, tannin astringency. Show prize winner. At the 1965 Adelaide shw, Bin 2565 was awarded a Silver medal in the Commercial Class for claret. Lindemans Wines Pty. Ltd., Sydney GR/G. Produce of 1 PT. 6 FL. OZ. Australia."
