Label reads: "Lindeman's Hunter River Valley Riesing. Bin: 3455. Vintage: 1968. Vintaged from Riesling grapes grown at Lindeman's "Ben Ean"and "Sunshine" Vineyards in the Pokolbin area of the Hunter River Valley, N.S.W. It is a fresh, well flavoured, delicate Riesling, with attractive grapey bouquet and taste, and pronounced Hunter character. This wine was awarded Gold medal 1969 brisbane show. Silver meda 1969 Sydney show in the Export Table Dry White and Open Hock Any Vintage classes respectively, and may be enjoyed now or cellared for many years for further maturity."
