Label reads: "Lindeman's Rouge Homme. Coonawarra, South Australia, is the southernmost vineyard area in Australia, producing mainly Dry Red table wines. It is situated between the 37th and 38th latitudes, 200ft. above sea level, and some 50 miles inland from the coast. The Rouge Homme vineyards at Conawarra were established in 1908, and are planted on a rice, chocolate-red loam overlying deep, soft limestone. This soil and the cool climate together produce the Claret you are about to enjoy-full of flavour, light and delicate, with a fine, crisp tannin astringency on the palate."
