Label reads: "Wente Petite Sirah. In 1883 Carl Wente started the family vineyards and wine cellars in the Livermore Valley. Today his son, grandson, and two great-grandsons actively carry on the family tradition of growing choice wine grapes and producing superb California wines. A rich fragrant wine, made from grapes of the Petite Sirah variety, matured in small casks, then allowed to develop its full bouquet in the bottle. Petite Sirah has a round, full flavour making it a versatile dinner companion for a wide variety of menus."
