Description

Label reads: "Lindeman's reserve Madeira Solera 1940. This wine was made from selected white grape varieties grown in the Corowa/Rutherglen district of southern Australia and the Pokolbin vineyards of the Hunter River Valley, N.S.W. It has been matured in small oak casks in a solera commenced in 1940, and is very similar in style to the wines from the Island of Madeira. It resembles a full-bodied fruity sherry and is an excellent appetiser or after-dinner wine. D4029."
