Label reads: "Silver medal 1981 Hobart. 1981. Lindemans. Padthaway. Fume Blanc. Produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown at Lindemans vineyard at Padthaway in the south east of Sth. Aust. Fume Blanc is a classic French stule of full-flavoured, oak matured, Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is an extremely good Australian example of the type. Lindemans Wines Pty Ltd Sydney Australia. D4029. Produce of Australia. 12.0% ALC/VOL. 750ml."
