Label reads: "1977 gold medal red shiraz cabernet malbec. 65/30/5%. Bottled: November 1978. Proprietors: Tumminello and Gale. Comments: The complimenting fruit characters of this blend were integrated and given a further depth of flavour by maturation in new oak. The wine has good balance and complexity of flavour by maturation in new oak. The wine has good balance and complexity of flavour, expected to be more evident on the palate with 2-5 years bottle age."
