Label reads: "William Teacher. 1811. 1876. In 1830 William Teacher established in Glasgow a Wine and Whisky business which today distils and blends Highland Cream Scotch Whisky, selling it in 156 countries. The Highland Cream was first registered in 1884, and the Highland Crema brand has always been a classic blend of Scotch Whiskies. Teacher's Highland Cream today, as then, contains an unusually high percentage of the most expensive Scotch Malt Whiskies including the production of two family Distillieries, Ardmore and Glendronch. These are the characterful whiskies which have made this Scotch Whisky appreciated all over the world, bringing forth as the do the very essence of Scottish countryside. The original character of this fine brand is still checked four times each week when the principal proprietors, all great grandsons of great great grandsons of the Founder, meet for tasting. These tastings are symbolic of the service and attention to detail which is expected of members of the family and which ensure that this bottle contains Scotch Whisky of the very finest quality and style."
