Label reads: "Est 1859. Saltram Vineyards. Saltram. Produced at Saltram Winery Angaston South Austalia. F44. 1977 Sylvaner. Sylvaner grapes have been grown in Germany for many years. Vines were imported into South Australia in the early 1970's, some of which were planted in our Tanunda vineyards. Cold fermentation and light pressure enhances the greenish hue in the colour and full distinctive bouquet. This white wine carries a touch of fruit to the finish, balancing the crisp 'appley' taste, typical of Sylvaner. Bottled may, 1977. Dalgety Wine Estates. 750ml. Wine made in Australia 10% ALC/VOL."
