DescriptionLabel reads: "This bottle bears a replica of the signature of our founder, Thomas Hardy, who arrived in South Australia from Devon, England on the 14th August 1850 In 1853 he planted his first vines, and by 1887 his widespread wine-making activities had reached such considerable importance that he introduced his three sons into the business and formed the Company of Thomas Hardy and Sons Ltd. "THOMAS HARDY GRAND RESERVE" has always been produced by the traditional and time-honoured method of fermentation in the bottle followed by "degorgement"which produces the highest quality Champagnes."
